Feature to quickly fill series in Excel

Autofill is a fundamental Excel feature that allows users to quickly fill cells with a series of data, such as numbers, dates, or custom lists, by dragging the fill handle. It intelligently recognizes patterns and extends them, saving significant time in data entry.

• Flash Fill (A) is used for automatically filling data based on a pattern detected from adjacent columns, often for splitting or combining text, not primarily for generating series.
• Format Painter (C) copies only the formatting from one cell to another, not the content or a series.
• Conditional Formatting (D) applies specific formatting to cells based on their content meeting certain criteria, it does not fill cells with data.
