The Objective Resolution is a cornerstone document in Pakistan's constitutional development, laying down the fundamental principles for the state. It was debated and passed by the first Constituent Assembly. The famous Objective Resolution was moved by Prime Minister Liaqat Ali Khan on March 7, 1949, and subsequently passed by the Constituent Assembly of Pakistan on March 12, 1949. This resolution served as the preamble to Pakistan's subsequent constitutions, establishing the ideological foundation for the nation, thus making 1949 the correct answer.

• 1947 was the year of Pakistan's independence, but the resolution was formulated later.
• 1956 was when Pakistan's first constitution was promulgated, which incorporated the resolution, but it was passed earlier.
• 1962 was the year of Pakistan's second constitution under Ayub Khan, also incorporating the resolution, but not its passing year.

The primary architect of the nationalization policies implemented in Pakistan during the early 1970s was Dr. Mubashir Hassan. As the Finance Minister under the government of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, Dr. Hassan was the key ideological and administrative force behind the major economic shifts of that era, including the nationalization of industries, banks, and insurance companies. While Mahbub ul Haq was a prominent economist known for his work on the Human Development Index and his earlier association with Ayub Khan’s administration, he was not the architect of the socialist-leaning nationalization program of 1973. Dr. Mubashir Hassan advocated for a "socialist" economic framework, aiming to reduce the concentration of wealth by bringing critical sectors under state control to facilitate more equitable economic distribution, a policy that fundamentally reshaped Pakistan's economic landscape during the 1970s.

The Objective Resolution is a landmark document in Pakistan's constitutional history, outlining the foundational principles for the nation's future constitution. It was presented and passed by the first Constituent Assembly. Liaqat Ali Khan, Pakistan's first Prime Minister, moved the Objective Resolution in the Constituent Assembly on March 7, 1949. This pivotal resolution established the guiding principles of sovereignty, democracy, and social justice, forming the ideological basis for Pakistan's constitutional framework, thus making him the correct answer.

• Muhammad Ali Bogra served as Prime Minister much later (1953-1955) and was not involved in moving this resolution.
• Ch. Muhammad Ali became Prime Minister in 1955 and played a key role in the 1956 Constitution, but not the Objective Resolution.
• Ayub Khan became President through a coup in 1958, long after the resolution was passed.

The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) is the head of the regional government, elected by the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly. The political leadership in administrative territories like GB can change due to elections or political developments. As per the context of the question, Gulbar Khan was the incumbent Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan. He assumed this significant office following the political process in the region, making him the correct answer.

• Mehdi Shah previously served as the Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan but was not the officeholder at the time this question refers to.
• Khalid Khurshid also held the position of Chief Minister before Gulbar Khan but was not the current officeholder.
• None of the above is incorrect because Gulbar Khan was indeed the Chief Minister.

Nations often designate national symbols, including animals, to represent their unique identity, wildlife, and cultural heritage. The question asks for the national animal of Pakistan. The correct answer is the Markhor.

The Markhor, a magnificent species of wild goat characterized by its distinctive spiral horns, is officially recognized as the national animal of Pakistan. It is native to the mountainous regions of Central Asia, the Karakoram, and the Himalayas, including parts of northern Pakistan. The Snow leopard is an endangered big cat found in Pakistan's northern mountains, but it is not the national animal. The Indus River dolphin is a critically endangered freshwater dolphin endemic to the Indus River system, but it also is not the national animal. The Chinkara, or Indian gazelle, is found in some parts of Pakistan but does not hold the national animal status.

Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) is an autonomous territory with its own parliamentary system, including a Prime Minister. The question asks for the current Prime Minister of AJK. The correct answer is None of the Above.

As of late 2024, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq holds the position of Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. The options provided do not correctly identify him. Sardar Ibrahim Khan was a historical figure, serving as the first President of Azad Kashmir, not the current Prime Minister. Sardar Tanveer Ilyas was a former Prime Minister of AJK, but he was removed from office in April 2023. The option 'Ch. AnwantJI Haq' is a misspelling and does not accurately represent the current PM's name, Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, nor is it presented as the correct option among A, B, or C. Therefore, 'None of the Above' is the accurate choice.

Chengdu, China, has become a prominent host for international sporting events. The question specifically asks about a major international sporting games event held in August 2025. The correct answer is the World Games.

Chengdu is scheduled to host the 12th edition of the World Games in August 2025. The World Games is a multi-sport event featuring sports that are not contested in the Olympic Games. This makes 'World' the accurate descriptor for the event. The Olympics are not scheduled for Chengdu in 2025. The Commonwealth Games are held among Commonwealth nations and are not hosted in China. While Chengdu hosted the FISU World University Games in 2023, the Asian Games were held in Hangzhou in 2023, not Chengdu, and are distinct from the World Games.

The diplomatic relations between India and Canada experienced a significant downturn in 2023. This rift was triggered by a specific, highly sensitive event. The correct answer is the Nijjar assassination.

The diplomatic crisis escalated dramatically after Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau publicly stated in September 2023 that there were credible allegations linking the Indian government to the assassination of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Nijjar, a prominent Sikh leader and Canadian citizen, was shot dead in Surrey, British Columbia, in June 2023. This accusation led to the expulsion of diplomats and a severe strain on bilateral ties. While trade disputes can cause friction, they were not the primary catalyst for this particular rift. Visa denial and embassy closure were consequences or measures taken during the crisis, not its root cause. The assassination and the subsequent allegations were the direct trigger for the diplomatic breakdown.

The question asks to identify the longest river in the world. Rivers are vital geographical features, and their lengths are often debated due to varying measurement methods. However, traditionally and by most widely accepted measurements, the Nile River holds the distinction of being the longest.

The Nile River is correct because it flows approximately 6,650 kilometers (4,132 miles) from its source in Burundi, through several East African countries, to the Mediterranean Sea. This immense length makes it the longest river globally. The Amazon River, while having the largest discharge volume and sometimes contended as longer, is generally considered the second longest. The Yangtze River is the longest river in Asia and the third longest in the world. The Mississippi River is the longest river system in North America but is significantly shorter than the Nile or Amazon.

Mars is famously known as the "Red Planet" due to the prevalence of iron oxide, commonly known as rust, on its surface. This reddish-orange hue is a distinctive characteristic that makes it easily identifiable and has inspired its nickname for centuries. The presence of iron-rich minerals that have oxidized over time gives Mars its iconic color.

• Earth is often called the "Blue Planet" because of its abundant water and oceans.
• Jupiter is a gas giant known for its massive size and prominent Great Red Spot, a persistent storm, but the planet itself is not referred to as the Red Planet.
• Saturn is renowned for its spectacular system of rings, composed mainly of ice particles and rock debris, and is not associated with a red color.

The Paris Agreement is the landmark international treaty on climate change, adopted by 196 Parties at COP 21 in Paris, France, on December 12, 2015. Its central aim is to strengthen the global response to the threat of climate change by keeping a global temperature rise this century well below 2 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase even further to 1.5 degrees Celsius.

• The Kyoto Protocol (1997) was an earlier international treaty aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions, but it was not adopted in 2015.
• The Copenhagen Accord (2009) was a political agreement, not a legally binding treaty, and also predates 2015.
• The Montreal Protocol (1987) is an international treaty designed to protect the ozone layer by phasing out the production of numerous substances responsible for ozone depletion, not primarily greenhouse gases.

Belgium, specifically its capital Brussels, is the customary host for the majority of major European Union leaders' summits, including the regular meetings of the European Council. Brussels serves as the de facto capital of the EU, housing the main institutions such as the European Commission, the Council of the European Union, and the European Parliament. This central location ensures continuity and accessibility for all member states.

• The UK is no longer a member of the European Union, so it would not host an EU leaders' summit.
• France and Finland are EU member states, and while they might host specific ministerial meetings or informal summits during their rotating presidencies, the primary and regular European leaders' summits are consistently held in Brussels.

The primary goal of the World Trade Organization (WTO) is to facilitate and regulate international trade. Established in 1995, the WTO works to reduce barriers to trade, ensure fair competition, and provide a framework for negotiating trade agreements and resolving trade disputes among its member countries. Its core function is to help trade flow as smoothly, predictably, and freely as possible.

• Global peace is primarily the objective of organizations like the United Nations.
• Humanitarian aid is the domain of various non-governmental organizations and specific UN agencies, such as the World Food Programme.
• Global Finance is predominantly managed by institutions like the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank, which focus on monetary cooperation and financial stability.

The Maastricht Treaty, signed in 1992 and effective from November 1, 1993, formally established the European Union (EU). This landmark agreement introduced the concept of European citizenship, laid the groundwork for the single European currency (the Euro), and created a common foreign and security policy, fundamentally transforming the existing European Communities into a more integrated political and economic union.

• The Treaty of Rome (1957) established the European Economic Community (EEC), a precursor focused on economic integration, not the EU itself.
• The Treaty of Lisbon (2007) amended existing treaties to streamline EU institutions and decision-making processes, but it did not establish the Union.
• The Schengen Agreement (1985) created a borderless travel area within Europe, which is a separate but related aspect of European cooperation, not the founding treaty of the EU.

The early Islamic period saw the rise of influential scholars who codified Islamic law and traditions, forming the basis of the four Sunni schools of thought. The classical Islamic scholar renowned for the seminal work "Al-Muwatta" is Imam Malik ibn Anas. This book is one of the earliest written collections of Hadith and Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), representing the legal practices and traditions of Medina during his time. It served as a foundational text for the Maliki school of thought and remains highly influential in Islamic scholarship.

• Imam Shafi'i founded the Shafi'i school and is known for "Al-Risala," a foundational text on Usul al-Fiqh (principles of jurisprudence).
• Imam Abu Hanifa founded the Hanafi school, known for his emphasis on Qiyas (analogical reasoning) and Istihsan (juristic preference), with his works compiled by students.
• Imam Hanbal founded the Hanbali school and is known for his extensive Hadith collection, "Musnad Ahmad ibn Hanbal."

Hadith, the sayings and actions of Prophet Muhammad, are crucial for Islamic law. Their systematic compilation was a significant historical process. The event most notably associated with the compilation of Hadith during the Umayyad period was the Collection under Caliph Umar II. Around 717-720 CE, Caliph Umar ibn Abd al-Aziz, recognizing the potential loss of Hadith knowledge, issued an official directive to prominent scholars, like Imam Ibn Shihab al-Zuhri, to collect and record Hadith, marking the first organized, state-sponsored effort.

• The Battle of Badr was a major military engagement in early Islam (624 CE), long before systematic Hadith compilation efforts.
• While Medina was a center of learning, there isn't a specific "Council of Madina" associated with the *official* compilation of Hadith during the Umayyad era.
• The Hijra (migration to Medina in 622 CE) was the foundational event of the Islamic calendar, predating Hadith compilation efforts.

Islamic jurisprudence employs various principles to derive legal rulings, especially for matters not explicitly covered in primary texts. The principle that allows a jurist to issue a legal opinion based on reasoning and public welfare (maslaha mursalah) is Istislah. Primarily associated with the Maliki school of thought, Istislah permits jurists to formulate rulings that serve the common good and prevent harm, provided they do not contradict established Islamic principles, thereby addressing new societal needs.

• Qiyas is analogical reasoning, deriving a ruling by comparing a new case to an existing one with a known ruling, based on shared effective cause, not solely public welfare.
• Ijtihad is the broader process of independent reasoning by a qualified jurist to derive a ruling, of which Istislah can be a method, but Ijtihad itself is the *act* of striving for a ruling.
• Ijma' (Jima) is the consensus of Muslim scholars on a legal issue, not an individual jurist's reasoning based on public welfare.

Early Islamic history in Medina involved establishing a new community and defining its interactions with diverse groups. The Constitution of Medina (Sahifat al-Madinah), often simply called the Treaty of Medina, was a pivotal document drafted by Prophet Muhammad. This constitution established a multi-religious state, outlining the rights and responsibilities of all inhabitants, including Muslims, Jews, and other pagan tribes. It ensured their peaceful coexistence, religious freedom, and mutual defense, creating a unified community (Ummah) under the Prophet's leadership.

• The Treaty of Hudaybiyyah was a peace treaty between Prophet Muhammad and the Quraysh of Mecca, primarily concerning pilgrimage rights and a truce.
• The Battle of Khaybar was a military campaign against a Jewish community, not a treaty of coexistence.
• The Treaty of Najran was a specific agreement with the Christian community of Najran, guaranteeing their protection in exchange for tribute, not the overarching constitution for Medina.

The Quran, Islam's holy book, is divided into chapters called Surahs, each with distinct themes. Surah Al-Baqarah (The Cow) is famously known as "The Continuation of the Muslim State" because it is the longest Surah in the Quran and provides comprehensive guidance on establishing and maintaining a stable Muslim society. Revealed primarily in Medina, it lays down foundational principles for the nascent Muslim state, covering laws related to family, finance, warfare, and social conduct, crucial for community building and governance.

• Surah An-Nisa (The Women) primarily focuses on women's rights, family law, and inheritance.
• Surah Al-Ma'idah (The Table Spread) deals with legal rulings, dietary laws, and interactions with People of the Book.
• Surah Al-Ahzab (The Confederates) discusses the Battle of the Trench and social issues, particularly concerning the Prophet's household.

In Islamic jurisprudence, various sources and methodologies are employed to derive legal rulings. The term that describes the consensus of Muslim scholars on legal issues is Ijma', often transliterated as Jima. It is considered a secondary source of Islamic law, after the Quran and Sunnah, signifying a unanimous agreement among qualified jurists on a specific legal ruling, thereby establishing its authority.

• Qiyas refers to analogical reasoning, where a ruling for a new issue is derived by analogy from a ruling found in the Quran or Sunnah for a similar issue, not consensus.
• Ijtihad is the independent reasoning or interpretation of Islamic law by a qualified jurist to derive a ruling, representing the *process* of derivation, not the collective agreement.
• Fatwa is a non-binding legal opinion issued by an individual qualified jurist (mufti), not a consensus of scholars.

The Quran contains numerous narratives of prophets, serving as lessons and guidance for humanity. Many Surahs (chapters) are named after prophets, but their narrative styles and scope vary significantly.

The correct answer is Yousaf. Surah Yousaf (Joseph) is unique in the Quran because it is almost entirely dedicated to the comprehensive and detailed narrative of Prophet Yousaf (Joseph) from beginning to end. It recounts his entire life story, including his dreams, betrayal by his brothers, imprisonment, and eventual rise to power, offering profound lessons in patience, trust in God, and divine wisdom. While it focuses on one prophet, the universal themes resonate with the experiences of other prophets and believers.

Surah Nuh and Surah Ibrahim are named after prophets and contain their stories, but they are not as singularly focused or as detailed in their narrative as Surah Yousaf. There is no single Surah explicitly named 'Musa' that exclusively dedicates itself to his story in such a comprehensive narrative style.

The four main Sunni schools of Islamic jurisprudence (madhahib) – Hanafi, Maliki, Shafi'i, and Hanbali – each have distinct methodologies for deriving legal rulings, though all respect the Quran and Sunnah. Their differences often lie in the emphasis placed on various sources and principles.

The correct answer is Hanbali. The Hanbali school, founded by Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal, is renowned for its strict and literal adherence to the Quran and authentic Hadith (Prophet's traditions). It places less emphasis on juristic opinion (ra'y) or analogical reasoning (qiyas) compared to other schools, preferring to derive rulings directly from textual evidence whenever possible, making it the most conservative in its approach to sources.

The Hanafi school uses extensive juristic reasoning. The Maliki school relies heavily on the practices of Medina. The Shafi'i school synthesizes approaches, emphasizing Hadith but also using qiyas systematically.

The Quran was revealed gradually to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). After his demise, it existed in various forms, memorized by companions and written on disparate materials. The need for a unified, standardized text became paramount to preserve its authenticity and prevent discrepancies.

The correct answer is Usman (RA). During the caliphate of Usman ibn Affan (RA), significant variations in Quranic recitation emerged across the expanding Islamic empire. To address this, he commissioned a committee to compile a single, authoritative written copy (Mushaf) of the Quran, based on the version collected by Abu Bakr, and ordered all other variant copies to be destroyed. This monumental effort ensured the standardization and preservation of the Quran.

Abu Bakr (RA) initiated the first compilation into a single volume after the Battle of Yamama. Umar (RA) succeeded Abu Bakr but did not undertake the standardization. Ali (RA) was the fourth Caliph, after the standardization was completed.

Islamic jurisprudence (Fiqh) relies on various sources to derive legal rulings. When direct textual evidence from the Quran or Sunnah is absent for a new issue, scholars employ secondary methodologies. This question focuses on one such principle.

The correct answer is Qiyas. Qiyas refers to analogical deduction, a method where a ruling from a known case (with textual evidence) is extended to a new case based on a common effective cause (illah). It allows for the application of Islamic law to contemporary issues not explicitly covered by primary texts.

Ijma (not Jima) is the consensus of Muslim scholars, not individual reasoning. Istihsan is juristic preference, a departure from strict analogy for a more equitable solution, but not the general principle of analogy itself. Ijtihad is the broader independent reasoning by a qualified scholar, which encompasses Qiyas, but Qiyas is the specific method of analogy.

This question assesses basic English spelling. The word 'accommodate' is frequently misspelled due to its double letters. Correct spelling is crucial for clear and professional communication.

The correct spelling is Accommodate. This word is correctly spelled with two 'c's and two 'm's. It is a common English verb meaning to provide lodging or space for someone, or to adapt to someone's needs or wishes. Remembering the 'double c, double m' rule is key to spelling this word correctly.

Options C and D, 'Accomodate', are incorrect because they are missing one of the 'm's. This is the most common error people make when spelling this particular word. Options A and B are identical to the correct answer, reinforcing the correct spelling.
